A candy bar(?) for sale in HK. More proof that Asian
marketers don’t have a monopoly on poor branding.
Honestly who would want to buy this? The inference of
course is that you are either A) eating a truffled
pork candy bar, or B) you are a truffle pig. Even if
you like truffles, and know how they’re gathered
(highly prized pigs trained to smell out the
underground delicacy), this seems like a bad idea.
Nobody wants to think of themselves as a pig, period.
Or would be flattered by the comparision. Hey, how
about Hazelnut Swine? Now that would sell like
hotcakes. Or pigcakes...
